Rich, vibrant and
complex.
Gihere and Gahahe washing stations are located in Burundi’s northern coffee-growing regions; areas with a long and deeply rooted coffee culture. Together, more than 2,000 smallholder farmers deliver primarily Red Bourbon cherries, harvested from small backyard plots and selectively hand-picked during the April–June season. Cherries at both stations are floated, hand-sorted, and slowly dried on raised beds under strict quality control, producing coffees known for their sweetness, clarity, and balance. For this filter offering, we’ve blended coffees to highlight the shared strengths of these regions while creating a cohesive, expressive cup that represents the best of Burundian coffee.
