Rich, vibrant and
complex
Produced by Francisco De Sola of Finca Plan del Hoyo, this washed Gesha lot showcases the best of El Salvadorian coffee. Favourable climates, high altitudes, and fertile volcanic soils contribute to the exceptional quality of coffees grown in this region. Spanning 100 hectares and home to over 60,000 trees, Finca Plan del Hoyo sits in the renowned Apaneca-Ilamatepec mountain range, where coffees are celebrated for their rich and complex profiles. Ripe cherries are mechanically pulped and carefully washed before undergoing slow, controlled drying to preserve clarity and flavour. The result is a rich and floral cup balanced by a delightful malic acidity.
